Hey everybody.. this will be a very short blog. I promise!
I just wanted to give you a little update on what was going on. We did obviously make it safe to the DR about 10 days ago. We were given our ministry information the next day and then some of us began work last Monday.
This month my team will be doing the exact opposite of what we were doing last month. We will not be doing any physical labor, instead we will be working at a local church. We will be helping out with VBS with the kids in the neighborhood and helping the pastor with whatever she needs. Our pastor is very tired, so she doesn’t work a lot. Due to this we have been exploring the city and seeking out what God would have us do with our extra time. We have found a few options and are trying to dig deeper into those options.
Our pastor is absolutely amazing, and I can’t wait to tell you about some of the things that she will teach us this month.
