So it’s been a day or 161 since I’ve written a blog to update everyone on what’s been going on. My bad team. This whole experience has been surreal and I haven’t even left yet. It’s crazy, but most of the past 5 months or so have just been…. Normal. Not a whole lot to indicate that I’m leaving everything and everyone I know for 11 months, and now that I leave in less than 13 days….. It’s becoming all too real.

By God’s provision alone I’ve been able to meet my launch requirement of 7,500$ so I am officially going to be leaving everyone to go to Atlanta on June 30th and I will be flying to Nepal on July 3rd! “But wait, did you just say Nepal?” Why yes I did. “I thought you were going to Central America?” My, my, we are quite the attentive person aren’t we?

So let me fill you in on what has been going on since last we spoke. I attended training camp this past May, where we spent the better part of 10 days or so diving into God, one another, learning some great lessons, and came to some humbling realizations. Within the first 3 hours or so of being at training camp I volunteered as tribute to be switched from D squad, who had too many guys, to G squad, who had too few. So that means I now have a new family and will be visiting a different set of countries!

For the next 11 months I will be travelling (tentatively, mind you) to Nepal, India, Thailand, Cambodia, South Africa, Swaziland, Botswana, Romania, Moldova, Guatemala, and Nicaragua! And, as much as I love my D squad brothers and sisters, I am beyond excited to do life with my fellow G-squadders! Yes, I just made that word up. While at training camp we also were divided into our first teams! And my first team is comprised the most ballinest, crunkest, awesome people I have had the pleasure to meet, except of course the rest of D, E, F, and G squad haha. We are all a little different but I know that these teams were put together with the utmost thought and prayer and the people putting them together are some of the most spirit-led people I have ever met and with that I know that I will come to love and cherish these men and women like family. So without further ado:

Team Boundless!

And my bearded self!

So in less than 13 days I will be leaving America behind for a year. The closer it gets the more real it becomes, the more excited I get, and the more nervous I become. But I know that my Father has me, he brought me and my teammates here for a reason, and we are going to do work for the Kingdom of God!

A HUGE shout-out to everyone who helped me get to my launch goal of $7,500!!! Thank you so much! My next goal is $11,000 and I need it by October 1st!! Please, if you would like to contribute any amount click on the “Support Me” tab at the top of the page. No amount is too small! Also if you would like for your donation to be matched then please email myself ([email protected]) or my mom ([email protected]) BEFORE you make your donation. There are a couple things we have to do differently to get your donation matched.

If you would like to partner with me in prayer, my team and I will need plenty of it! Just email me at the above address and I will add you to a list to receive updates on specific and general prayer requests from myself and my team! If you can’t do anything else, please be praying for us. Prayer is POWERFUL! It can move mountains and raise the dead!

Thank you guys so much for reading this. I’ll have a blog with a bit more meat to it coming either today or tomorrow. Sorry for being MIA for so long. You guys rock!
