I’m currently in school at MTSU taking some random classes here and there to raise my GPA in the hopes that when I return from my endeavors overseas, I find it pretty unreal that I’m saying that, I will get accepted into a school of nursing. I feel that God has blessed me with a great gift when it comes to medicine and has given me a great compassion for people in need.
When I’m not schooling like a baus, you’ll typically find me at church, with friends, or playing volleyball which is scientifically proven to be the best sport there is. After much study and careful consideration it was found that Ultimate Frisbee is the second best. Other than those things I love to read, discuss volleyball, play games, practice for volleyball, hang out with friends, watch volleyball, and meet new people. But seriously. Volleyball. It’s like crack.
My dream job is to be a flight nurse for Life Flight. I work at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital as a CNA. Working here has only worked to get me more excited about a future career as nurse. I have also learned that nurses and any nursing staff are some of the most under-paid and under-appreciated people in our society. Seriously. It’s a problem. Be nice to your nurse!
I’m super excited to see what God has in store for me over the next couple years and just throughout the rest of my life in general. It’s crazy to think that He has a better plan for me than i could EVER plan myself. I mean come on, winning the lottery and spending the rest of my life doing whatever you want sounds like a pretty good plan doesn’t it? But as I’ve come to learn, and this is a blog all its own, this IS NOT my life. I’m learning to give my life completely to Christ, to love as He loves, and to let Him lead me through this adventure. Sure, I have a ton of stuff that I would LOVE to do and plans that I had made, but if His plans are better than my own, I can’t even begin to imagine how awesome and wonderful my life is going to be. In complete surrender to Him I have love, grace, and unequivocal and unequaled happiness.
