I am undeserving.

I once was immersed in the bondage of sin. A lying tongue. Hands of a thief. Eyes of a lustful addict.

I’ve manipulated loved one then cursed those who deceive me.

I’ve walked in darkness and I’ve held onto the aroma of stimulating capsules and numbing liquids.

I’ve hungered to be held and reaped shame in their touches.

I believed the lie that I was worthless, lifeless, meaningless and unloved.

That all I’ve done and all the choices I’ve made were irreversible and I allowed the fear of condemnation to overcome me.

BUT THEN GRACE. The undeserving gift from our heavenly father

Jesus came down, and with his last breath I was eternally redeemed.

I humble myself before my rock, my savior, my friend who gave his life.

I breathed in a new breath and I was lifted no higher than the foot of the cross.

His sacrifice was pleasing to our father and now I am wrapped in His resurrection.

There is a never ending overflow of unconditional Love that comes pouring down from above

I now stand with extended arms

Being covered by the Holy Spirit’s

Love

Joy

Peace

Patience

Kindess

Goodness

Faithfullness

Gentleness

and Self control

So now I no longer am immersed in the bondage of sin but am set free by His blood.

I don’t have to give in to gossip and lying lips.

My hands now give instead of steal.

My eyes no longer lust but my heart longs for intimacy with Jesus.

I no longer have to manipulate people to love me because my Heavenly Father loves and knows me fully.

And when I’m walking through darkness and on the edge of temptation, I now have the Holy Spirit who lives IN ME who empowers me to live my life fully for Jesus.

Because all to him I owe.

“So then, beloved ones, the flesh has no claims on us at all, and we have no further obligation to live in obedience to it. For when you live controlled by the flesh, you are about to die. But if the life of the Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh, we then taste his abundant life.”

Romans 8:12-13

This is why I am going on the World Race. To share the hope, faith, and Love that I have found in Jesus Christ with the World for 11 months, and to come back better equipped to share the Gospel for the rest of my life.

My Fundraising Letter bellow:

My Dearest friends and family,

I am beyond excited to announce that I will be leaving this fall for a missions trip called The World Race! I will be traveling to eleven different countries in eleven months through the organization Adventures in Missions, and I’m inviting you to join me in prayer and financial support! As I share more about my trip and what our team will be doing, my prayer is that the Lord lays it upon your heart to take this opportunity to join me on this journey.

I will be leaving October 5th of 2018! If you would like to become a prayer partner, please subscribe to my blog at jeorgiannapulford.theworldrace.org This is where I will post prayer requests along with updates of where I am in the World and how God is moving in my life and of those around me. If you would like to give, you can do so by clicking “Donate” on my blog or follow the instructions attached to send a personal check. I’d love to answer any questions you have regarding this journey! You can contact me at [email protected]or give me a call at 610-451-2496

Every month, while on The World Race, my team and I will be sent into a new place with a new opportunity to serve. Adventures in Missions is associated with over 1,150 ministry partners around the world and we will be traveling to the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Lesotho, Swaziland, South Africa, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, and Ecuador. Some of the opportunities my team will have include working with people who have been prostituted and/or victims of sex trafficking, exposed to AID’s and drug abuse, and many who live as orphans and widows. In other countries I will be working within prison ministries, campus ministries and in many areas where people have never heard the name of Jesus.

So why the World Race? Why 11 counties? I could have chosen to go to one of these places and worked with one people group or I could have chosen multiple places and worked with a select few. But when I asked God to direct my heart on what to do and where to go next, He answered, “My love goes beyond just one group of people and one place. I love this World, go see for yourself.” Now, this doesn’t mean I plan to travel the world the rest of my life, but he has set it on my heart to be exposed to a vast amount of  cultures and ministry possibilities. My soul purpose in going is to abandon my traditional lifestyle here in America and to serve others selflessly in hopes of furthering the Kingdom of God. In this, I pray my faith and intimacy with my Heavenly Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit will deepen.
