So this is month 10 of the Race, and a lot of new things are happening this month. New continent, new culture, new ministry, and for some of us, new teams!
For this month, all 13 of the guys on our squad are doing what is called “man-istry” and they are all serving together as one big team. However, in order to do this, we had to split up the two co-ed teams: deepa and fly. So for this month, we’ve formed a new hybrid team and we’ve named ourselves “Team Lavender”. We will only be together for this month, but lucky for us, Romania has been one of our longest months of the Race, so got to do a lot together in this short time as a team, and we’ve had some great times.
So, since we are two teams combined, I am still with some girls from my last team, Team Fly. Anna and Katy are still with me, but we have 3 new members of our team who were on Team Deepa; Lauren, Emilie McNatt and Emilie Blomberg. We also have on of our squad leaders with us this month, Madison. We have had an awesome time working together, adventuring together, and just doing life together here in Romania!
