Ministry isn‘t always easy, but it’s always worth it.
This is a letter of encouragement I wrote for my fellow squad mates and anyone else who may be feeling like they are hitting the B-zone in ministry. In any long-term endeavor, there is always a point you hit where you start to doubt, or when you feel like you want to give up. This can be in a job, in any big life decisions, and ministry is no exception. Sometimes satan tries to whisper lies in our ears telling us that the work we’re doing isn’t worth it and it would be easier to be home, but when we start to feel these things we can’t give up. We have to remember the reason we came here in the first place. We came to grow and we came to make a difference, and God called us here for a reason, and we don’t want to give up on what God has in store for us.
I hope that this video is encouraging. I know these words have encouraged me to help combat any negativity I have been feeling and to focus on what God is doing. Going forward, I am choosing to see His glory and His blessings over the longings for home or the self—doubt, because those things are not of the Lord, and I am here for what God is doing and NOT for what satan is doing.
Enjoy!
