Last month in Rwanda, we had the opportunity to partner with an organization called Love and Hands. I was able to help them out with a promotional video and get an inside look at their incredible, God-fearing ministry.
Love and Hands focuses on providing reading and writing skills to children who can’t afford to go to school while at the same time training their parents on Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) programs to empower parents to generate income for their children’s education. I am semi-obsessed with the concept of ABCD and so I geeked out when I got to experience some of the work they are doing. If you haven’t heard of Asset-Based Community Development, I dare ya to give it a google. It’s a very sustainable and dignifying form of development!
