You know how everyone says everything happens for a reason and there’s no accident for what’s happening?
Well I experienced that very moment here in the Malealea Valley, Lesotho.
Me and my team arrived at our mission house here in Lesotho and its amazing-a huge valley with mountains and fields-feels like home!! But after a few days I started feeling very unwell, and needed to go to the doctor.
I didn’t really want to go and talk to anyone or think about anything I just wanted go get better…but I couldn’t just walk around with that mindset…the tunnel vision to only think about myself. I have an obligation as a follower of Jesus to share the gospel and the power and authority He has given me!
So we go to the doctor and sit next to a woman who happens to be sisters with one woman we had met the day before in a village-who prayed for her family to be saved! So I ask this woman next to me why she is at the doctor, she responds that her stomach is hurting her. I asked her if I could pray for her stomach…and she was healed! Praise God! It was so sweet to see the joy she had because He had healed her not only physically but spiritually as well.
Be aware for how God can use you in your regular everyday life to do amazing and powerful things for His name.
Do you believe He can heal people using YOU as a vessel? If so, exercise that faith. If not, talk to God about it because as a follower of Christ we HAVE been given that authority and power.
You see someone with crutches? Pray for them to be healed.
You see someone who is blind? Pray for them to be healed.
God is the great physician, let Him use you to heal His children!
