Hey friends! Wow February was a crazy month.
1. I finished my college swimming career! Bittersweet. Mostly sweet. It was a tough meet and challenged my worth as an athlete and person. Over many years of hearing people say your identity is not in swimming and I am not determined by times has never felt more untrue during this week at my last conference ever….BUT after it was all said and done my coaches spoke some real truth into me that affirms who I am as a human and an athlete on my team.
2. TSHIRT FUNDRAISER!! I am super excited about selling these shirts. WHY? Because when people wear this shirt, it will create a conversation (not just cause its a freakin sweet shirt) but about the gospel and how we get to share it anywhere, all the time! The verse on the shirt is Mark 16:15- And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation”. Buying this shirt is not just a fundraiser, its a movement to create real conversations in our communities!!

4. I got my first monthly donor!! Really mind-blown and in awe of how the Lord has worked in this. Fundraising has been hard. I walked into this trying to carry all the weight of raising money on my own, and it was stressful, heavy and sad. Money wasn’t pouring in like I had thought. BUT where was my reliance coming from? Not Jesus. But after giving this weight to him its not as hard watching the fundraising not increase because its not on me, its on God and I’ve got to trust in that.
