My friend,
Do you realize how much the Lord is chasing you? He sees you in your loneliness and your hurt and he hasn’t forgotten you. He gave you this bible so that you could stand on this truth and spread to everyone you know.
I pray you build your house upon this one truth of the gospel and that you would continue to grow and bear fruit that looks like Christ. Proclaiming victory over any obstacle that prevents you from doing this-fear, doubt, etc.
As you read the truth of the bible everyday may you gain so much knowledge from him. I pray you get excited to read a new verse, that you read it over and over and over. That you would be written on your heart and it would shine through you to everyone you meet. Girl put on the armor of God everywhere you go, carrying the protection of Jesus.
I pray against any attacks from the enemy that tell you that you aren’t good enough or beautiful or smart or sweet or wonderful. I know you are because JESUS tells us that we are all these things and so many more.
I pray for you to see everyday how much he loves you!! When you see a beautiful flower on your way to school, its because he loves you. When you read his word and a verse sticks out to you, its because he loves you. When you are worshipping at church and you cannot stop singing and dancing its because he loves you!
It was so sweet to meet you and be encouraged by you. You my friend, are going to change this entire world with this amazing faith you have in Jesus! I love you!

So I met this girl during outreach the other day. She is 14 years old, only has about 3 friends- and 1 good friend that doesn’t pressure her to do drugs or other things and loves to read. I asked her what she liked to read and if she liked to read the bible. She said “I’d like to read it, but I don’t have one! I’d read the bible every day if I did have one!”
My heart broke for her at this moment because she was so eager for a bible and for a friend but didn’t have a bible. Then God told me give her the one you have. This was the only bible I had at this point and I didn’t know the next time I might be able to buy one, but I knew this girl needed a bible…not so she could be a ‘better’ (which is so not true or biblical) but she was thirsty for more knowledge for the word of God!
So I gave it to her! And immediately she starts reading revelations. She exclaims: ‘this is talking about heaven and earth!’ I was so excited to see her immediate response of opening and reading, soaking in the words of this text discovering more about God and his truth. My friend encouraged her to read the book of Ephesians (which she had never heard of) chapters 1-about your identity in Christ and 6-the armor of God. We prayed with her for a strong community, her time at school and home, for her to learn more and more about the Lord everyday and be a girl that changes the world with God’s love.
If you’re reading this blog, this letter is for you too.
