I am so excited to start this amazing journey! So Where am I going for my 11 months?!
Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay//Argentina, Cambodia, Thailand, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda! CRAZY I KNOW!!!
Growing up I’ve always said that I wanted to be a missionary!… haha I actually told my parents when I was younger that I would be a missionary in Africa and live in a hut just telling people about God’s Love for the rest of my life! And now I am about to embark on a life changing journey. I am about to leave behind everything I know and pack a back pack and GO, and I couldn’t be more excited!!!
Ephesians 1:7-10 is a passage that God keeps bringing me back to the past couple years!
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.
A couple years ago I really started to think about and pray “God what do you want me to do with this life you have given me!?” God kept bringing me back to this passage and one thing that kept hitting me was the part that talks about God making known His will according to His purpose and will set out His plan in the FULLNESS OF TIME. God kept bringing me back to the World Race, and if I am being honest with all of you I was resistant to that call at first. After a lot of prayer and wisdom from people in my life I started my application. I finally said YES to God’s call to GO!
Now I have been accepted and I am ready and willing to GO! I am not going to sit here and say I am not nervous, but I know that God has called me to this for a specific purpose and I cant wait to see what He is going to do in and through me! Like it says in 2 Corinthians 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. I am ready to go and be an ambassador to the nations and step way out of my comfort zone!
I am asking all of you to prayerfully consider to financially support me either monthly or a one time donation! Everything will help me reach my goal!
My goal is to be FULLY supported by October 6th when me and my team launch! The total amount I need to raise is $18,017 and that will cover all of my necessary expenses on the race (food, travel, and lodging) the entire time I am on the Race.
“God doesn’t call the equipped, he equips the called” I can’t get there by myself and I am confident that God will provide!
