Our last two days in Mendoza, Argentina were fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed them. We participated in sessions led by our fellow squad mates. Dad is so cool, all the people who spoke were not given an outline or even topics to speak about. They were just told to speak about what Dad was pressing on their hearts to speak on. All of the talks flowed perfectly together, as if all the people had gotten together and come up with a plan; it was an incredibly uplifting weekend.
The last talk of the weekend was given by one of the team leaders, he talked about our Identity. “Identity says I am going to listen to who God says I am”. Identity has to be bestowed, it can not be earned. It has to be received in belief and owned in courage! After the talk was finished, we were given the opportunity to sit with Dad and have Him speak truth over our true identity.
My past doesn’t dictate my relationship with the Lord! There is no sin that will out sin the GRACE of God! The night before I had stood up in front of my whole squad and shared about past experiences and what Dad was teaching me about who I am and that my past does not define me. Hosea 14:4 says “ The Lord says, Then I will heal you of your faithlessness; my love knows NO BOUNDS, for my anger will be gone forever”. After I shared I spoke over myself what Dad was teaching me. I spoke truth over myself and for the first time I believed everything that I was saying. While sitting with Dad that night He reminded me of who I am to Him!

This is who I am in My Fathers eyes and I Finally believe it for the first time in my life! This journey on the World Race has not been easy but it is times like this that I am so excited for the growing pains to come.
