First off thank you for reading my blog and following my journey!
So, I have never really thought of myself as a control freak, I always thought that I was super laid back and just went with the flow. HAHA! Man was I wrong! As I have been going through this process I have been praying GOD, illuminate things in my life that I need to work on. And when you ask God to do something or to show you something; He ALWAYS shows up! I am so thankful that I can go to God and be real and honest with Him; even though He already knows what I am feeling He wants a true and honest relationship with me! I am beyond thankful that when I call He answers!!!
Going through this process of preparing to leave and fundraise so that I am able to GO on this journey, God is continuing to show me how I can grow and is directing me on to what is the next step.
One thing that God is working on me with is my control. Like I said I never thought that I was a control freak. God has been showing me how to really let go of that constant need to control my circumstances. I tend to think that when I am talking to people about this trip, I need to say that perfect thing that will tug on their heart and they will get behind me. That is where I make a mistake! You are not getting behind me at all. I am just a vessel that God is using, You are getting behind God and His mission to bring people to Him. God is continually reminding me that I am not going to change anyone’s mind, He is! Only God can work in people’s hearts and minds, Nothing we say is going to change or make it better.
Proverbs 4:25-27
Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or left; keep your foot from evil.

Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge.
So I am going to continue to trust God in His provisions and He will provide all I need and more than I can ever think or imagine.

$18,017.00 Due by 01/31/2018 All the funds I raise cover all team costs once the trip begins. This includes food, lodging, air, land, and sea travel. It also covers administrative, set up, coaching, debrief, and training costs prior to and at the start of your Race (Training Camp).
2% ($360) Training Camp (Cultural training before departure)
4% ($720) Field Support (Getting us supplies, supporting local contacts, etc.)
12% ($2,162) WR Development Program (Improvements and developments)
17% ($3,063) Administration Fees (Processing, paying the staff who take care of every detail of our travel, food, lodging, etc.)
65% ($11,711) World Racer Budget
And here’s how the 65% $11,711 “World Racer” budget breaks down:
45% ($5,270) Intercontinental travel
13% ($1,522) Food
19% ($2,225) Lodging
11% ($1,288) Transportation
12% ($1,405) Long Distance Travel and Misc. Supplies
