B.L.O.G = Beans Life Overseas Goals.

So Jenny is my “Beans”(My nickname for her) and has been since she was born. She has been bugging me to write something for her blog, so here goes……..SOMETHING.

Jenny came to know Jesus as her personal savior at a young age. Our Family was very involved at our local church. If the doors were open we were there. Jenny has always talked about missions and would share Christ with people that God placed in her life. We had a little business in Wisconsin before moving to Florida. Jenny would go everywhere with me. We would listen to veggie tales, kingdom kids, and all kinds of kids worship music in our travels about town. Even as a little kid she would ask people, “Do you know Jesus”? She has been sharing the good news of salvation since she learned about it herself.

Seeing Jenny take this leap of faith bringing the good new to the lost is an incredible experience as a Dad. Especially with this group that was able to travel to so many places in under a year.

After high school, you never really know what direction your child will go. I’m going to assume this is a once in a lifetime experience being able to get your feet wet in full time missions field. She may go on other mission trips or even in to full time missionary work? I can’t imagine doing it like this again, but we don’t know God’s plan for our future.

Some of the places on your journey were not the safest places to be. Your faith and dedication in staying the course is admirable and a testimony of faith! You are continuously in our prayers. I have to say I was at peace with the understanding that our heavenly father could protect you and your team-mates while all I could do was pray for his will and protection.

Now you are in the final stretch. I can’t wait to hear all the stories and see more pictures. I’m looking forward to hugs and just being in the same room with you. I’m looking forward to worshiping together again as well. I really miss you and love you! I’m proud of the way you answered the call and stepped out in faith. you traveled to many places I may never go. You may never go again? god has given you many talents and gifts that I am incredibly joyous to see you sharing. The global travel was just an incredible fringe benefit: “Hide it under a bushel, NO”!

You have become an incredible godly woman. Thank you for serving!

I can’t wait to see what opportunities God has for you next. You will always be my little girl and my Jenny “Beans”. I love you!!

A special thank you to all that supported Jenny in this journey both financially and prayerfully!!
