Wow. This past month has absolutely flown by! Squad B came into Lima and our little media team family was reunited once again. It was so refreshing to be with them after being separated for that long. We headed to Macchu Picchu a couple days later for debrief.

We celebrated Chris Telfer’s 24th birthday there by going out for pizza and buying him some very fashionable and suave pants (see above photo). The last day before leaving we spent the day at Macchu Picchu and soaked in one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever laid my eyes on!

We left Macchu Picchu on a Wednesday and flew to Bueno Aires, Arentina the very next night.

We found a local church a few blocks from our hostel and attended a youth night. The church did an excellent job of reaching the local youth on their level without compromising the gospel. We danced and sang and prayed right along with them!

Now I have to gush. WE HAVE THE BEST GUYS IN THE WORLD ON OUR TEAM. They told us one morning to not make any plans for that night because they had a surprise for us. All they said was that we were to dress up in our best clothes and be ready by 6:45pm. So we 4 (Anne, Meagan, Erin and I) went out and bought really cute new dresses for the night.
A van picked us up outside the hostel and took us to….. ready??…. TANGO LESSONS!

They bought us an hour long tango lesson that night where we learned the 8 basic steps. After the lesson, another room opened up to reveal a dinner show. Not only did they buy us a lesson, but also a whole tango/dinner theatre show! The guys were so amazing and all of us felt incredibly loved. I am so thankful for you guys!!!!

So all in all we’re now here in South Africa. I was so happy to see my best friend ANNE BARRON waiting for me at the airport when we arrived. She’s like my sister and having her here is a breath of fresh air. I would post a picture of us, but all our pictures were on her camera which was stolen just the other day in Jo-berg :(. So if you desire, you can send Anne a new camera. Just visit her site at http://annebarron.myadventures.org
Well anyway, Mom… this blog was for you. I know you wanted to see more of my face, so here it is.
I love you all and thank you so much for all your support! I’m almost at my year goal of $13,000. I only have $3,500 more to go! Thank you again and keep praying!
Amor, Jenny
