Spending 4 weeks working with She Ministries is amazing! It has completely changed my life. Our ministry focused on building relationships with the girls who worked in the bars. The other part of our ministry was prayer!
Around lunch time every day we would walk down Bangla road and pray over each bar and over the people. At night we go into the bars and start building relationships with the girls. Bangla road is situated just off the beach and so many tourist come to experience the nigt life after spending the day on the beach. In this area of Patong there are over 200 bars and more are being built. Some of the girls we got to know were around the age of 18 and some of them look much younger! Many of them have children and they work in the bars because its one of the only ways they can support their families. Over the course of the 4 weeks we were able make some great friendships and it was incredibly hard to leave.

Here are a couple pictures of Bangla road at night.
