Hey everyone!

My name is Jenny Meunier, my  nickname is Bubbles. My friends say I have a bubbly personality. smiley I got my nick name working at a summer Bible Camp. I've worked there for the past 3 summers as a lifeguard. Once in a while I will see a camper and they will yell across the street "Hi Bubbles", Its great! On March 26, I will turn 21. I live in Salmon Arm, British Columbia Canada and I've grown up in a Christian home. I have one older sister her name is Jessie and an older brother who passed 18 years ago his name is Ben. My parents are wonderful and very supportive of my dreams.

I absolutely love traveling and sharing the Gospel! I've been on two mission's trips one to Guatemala and the other to South Africa. In South Africa my team's ministry was washing the orphans feet and providing them with new socks and shoes. In Guatemala we partnered  with a local school and held daily devotional bible camp's for the students. After going to those countries my desire to help people grew and continues to grow everyday. I was baptized when I was eight, since then I've wanted to be a medical missionary.

Why I am going on the World Race?
I am going on the World Race because God answered my prayers with a miracle! Starting from the beginning, three years ago I heard about the World Race and was instantly in awe, it was exactly what I wanted to do. Although I was too young so I prayed that God would allow me to go when I turned 21. For the past four and a half years I've struggled with extremely painful headaches, I was getting them every day! The Doctors didn't know what the cause was and I even had a CT-Scan done and it came back clear.

The headaches were getting in the way, to the point where I couldn't go to college or live a normal life. My life felt like it wasn't moving forward which cause me to go into a bit of depression. To make a long story short, on the 19 of this past September I prayed that if it was God's plan for me to go on the World Race he would cure me of  my headaches. Without his help I wouldn't be able to go. That next morning I woke up pain free, Crazy! I thought maybe I was just having a good day but it's been four months now and I have been headache free! Praise God! smiley God gave me a miracle, so I've signed up for the World Race trusting that this is how God wants me to spend this next year of my life.

This is one verse that has really helped me these last couple of years.

Jeremiah 29: 11 – 13
For I know the plans I have for you," Says the Lord. " They are plans for  good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.

I can't wait for this adventure to begin! I love the idea of packing my whole life into a backpack for a year and giving everything to God. I want to be and open book and allow God to teach me , and write a story that glorifies him.
