Coming on the World Race and experiencing nine different countries and cultures so far has broken me. It has given me a greater appreciation for the many things I have taken for granted. Comforts of home, having any kind of education at my figure tips and most importantly I have a greater appreciation for the freedom I have! I am free to believe in Jesus, Christ and I have the freedom that comes from giving my life to the Lord.
My life has changed dramatically I will not be able to go back to the same person I was before the race. The Lord has taught me about self-confidence, standing up against injustice, devoting everyday to prayer and letting him take control of the things I would stress and worry about in my life. And living each day is if it were my last, praying for divine appointments and declaring truth in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe that we are a generation of world changers!
1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows. May he, as a result, make your hearts strong, blameless, and holy as you stand before God our Father when our Lord Jesus comes again with all his holy people. Amen.
Hillsong United a Christian band traveled around the world in 2008 and created a documentary called the I Heart Revolution! This documentary explains exactly what the world race is about and what I've been experiencing over the past 9 months.
