Can this really be happening? I keep asking myself this as I walk throughout the streets of Romania. I arrived here just one day ago and I still cant seem to get a grasp on the reality that I will be gone for the next 11 months. Being such a traveler over the last year it just feels like another vacation and that in a few days I will be returning home to be with my family and friends once again. Who knows when the reality of being away for almost a year will really sink in and what that process will be like. Right now I am just resting in knowing that regardless of when that happens and what it looks like that Christ is going to be in the midst of it.

My Team Leader (Staci) and I before Boarding our Flight to Romania!!
My current prayer is 2 Timothy 4:5. It says, “As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” I know that there are tough times to come but I have so much peace in knowing that being here is such a huge part of fulfilling the ministry he has given me. I am so amazed that God considers me to be worthy of a ministry…and a great ministry at that! What a blessing it is to be given this amazing opportunity to tell the world about Jesus!
I am not the only one that God has given a ministry to. God gives us all a ministry! It may not look like you traveling all around the world or working at a church but he still has given you one and it is just as significant. I think that it is so easy for us to get caught up in the fact that ministry is a term that you only use for missionaries and people who work for a church. The reality is that we all have a ministry and we are all missionaries. God has given each of us a mission and that mission is for us to spread his name and love. A mission to bring him glory in everyway we possibly can. My pray for you as you read this is that you would seek out what your ministry looks like and that you would work at fulfilling it.

The Hostel we are Staying in for the Week (Bucharest, Romania)
**Just an update!!! I will not be staying in Romania for the whole month. I am now going to be traveling, with the rest of my team, to Serbia (we will leave Romania on Saturday morning). There we will be working with YWAM (Youth with a Mission). Not 100% sure what ministry will look like at this time but I am so excited to begin. Cant wait to tell you all the details about our first month of ministry in SERBIA!!
