Lord I am knocking but I don’t know what’s on the other side. I know that it’s something good and something amazing. I am knocking lightly though as if I’m expecting no answer at the door. My knuckles gently tap the surface. But I’m not going anywhere, I know You have something for me on the other side. It has everything to do with you and has been created exactly with me in mind. I wait patiently on the door mat and brush my dirty feet off because I don’t want to bring anything unclean from my past journey through the door. Your welcome mat has taken away all the dirt. There is no hole too look through so I can’t even capture a glimpse to what awaits on the other side. But I am confident, I have faith that what is to come is right and full of a life chosen for me. I will wait at this door, I will knock because I know you will answer.
