From September 13, 2010 until July 31, 2011, I participated in THE WORLD RACE, which was an 11 month mission trip to 11 countries. During the course of that trip, I traveled to the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, India, Nepal, Ukraine, and Romania. I had the opportunity to partner with a variety or churches and organizations to spread the message of love and hope to the far reaches of the earth.
Now, after being home for over a year, I am headed on a new adventure to Yei, South Sudan. I will be joining Joy Robertson, Brian Barrett, and Taylor Mckellar to work with the 100 plus children at Dreamland Children’s Home. We will have the opportunity to disciple, plan activites for, and just care for orphans who are in desperate need of love and affection. I am excited yet nervous for what God has in store for me and my teammates, but I know that if I follow His leading, I will not be disappointed!
