GUYS…our launch date is coming so quickly!! EEK! I seriously cannot contain the excitement! Although, I have a million things to accomplish before that date I wanted to take some time and share some of my thoughts with you all before heading to Launch.
The first being that I am in amazement on how God works. As support continues to pour in through prayers or financial blessings I constantly go back to His goodness. I mean, who am I to deserve what He’s so graciously given to me! I never in a million years thought I would be this close to reaching 10k. This entire journey has brought me a faith and trust in Jesus that I have never experienced before. I am incredibly blessed by each person who has believed in me and has taken that step into partnering with me through prayers, financial blessings, donations of equipment, or anything else for that matter. I remember reading months back on a very small amount of people not being funded to go on the race and thinking, I was definitely going to be that small percentage of those who can’t go. First of all, I see that now as a huge lack of faith BUT God did what seemed to be impossible and it is ONLY through HIS POWER. I also wanted to encourage each one of you to be in constant prayer over a thing, person, calling or whatever it may be! It took me 2 years of consistently praying for a mission trip and God decided this year He would open that door. It took me 15 days of PRAYER AND FASTING to reach my 10k deadline, and I now have approximately $100 or less to meet it. I prayed and prayed for God to provide for my yard sale and I fundraised well over $1700 JUST IN DONATIONS. GOD IS ON THE MOVE. In my life, in yours and everyone else’s. All you have to do is open your heart and speak. He is more than willing to show you His great power. To Him be all the glory! On the other side of things, we received our ministry information for our first country (Costa Rica) and my team and I could not be more excited! Due to being on the field and constantly moving countries I will not be able to receive any mail. I would love to read letters from back home during my time on the race, so if you would like to write me a letter you can either mail it to my home address (I can give you that info in a private message) OR hand it to me in person!
