Greetings from the exotic locale of Gainesville, GA.  Yes, that’s right folks two days after our plane was supposed to leave for Jolly Old England we are back at AIM’s home base.  What happened you ask?  Well, apparently British Airways does not like it when you travel into a foreign country with a one way ticket.  But, we have managed to now come up with the paperwork needed to get on the plane.  Half of our team got to go yesterday but they had major drama with security since all of them got tagged to be searched.  It probably didn’t help that they were all wearing their World Race t-shirts.  Those of us leaving today have chosen not to wear our shirts, so as to not send up a red flag and take up more time.  Our flight leaves at 6:30 tonight and, for good measure, we are going to be at the airport by 11.

Please pray that everything runs smoothly.  We have seen several reasons why God didn’t allow us on the flight Tuesday, but we are all ready to get this trip started.  It is almost harder to be here and keep your mindset on what we are doing.  We are still so close to those we are having to leave behind.  But, God is good all the time and he is sufficient to meet all of our needs, including fighting against lonliness, fear of the unknown, and even getting through to British Airways.
