Okay, so we didn’t make any signs but we did stop by the house where, at least the exterior shots were done, for the movie Ferris Bueler’s Day Off

We actually arrived in the US at 8 am Friday morning, which coincidently is the exact same time we left the Philippines.  Coming home never felt so good, and it will only get better from here.  By the time we made it through customs & baggage claim it was 9:45 am.  We had a couple of friends waiting on us when we walked through to the exit.  Chad & Morgan from the January 07 Race were there waiting on us.  They were such a welcome site.  It was wonderful to see old friends in this new place.  Our hosts for our 48 hour lay-over arrived and we all loaded and hopped into cars for the drive to Long Beach.  I am staying with Ken and Bonnie Brown.  This couple has been such an absolute blessing.  They have fed us, driven us around town so we could run errands, and let us sleep anywhere and everywhere in their home.  We are so blessed to be among this couple who love the Lord so much.  They are beautiful examples of God’s love for us through their servanthood and love for a bunch of exhausted ragamuffins!

As a side note, I have thoroughly enjoyed such blessings as; new music, Panera brocolli & cheese soup, Target, Fresh air, the smell of freshly cut grass, cuddling up under a blanket on a comfy couch to watch a movie, Vanilla flavored creamer for coffee, and real cheese!  Oh how sweet it is, we as Americans are SO blessed.

P.S. When we land in Miami we will have officially flown around the world!  Not many people can say that!  God is Good ALL THE TIME!
