Please keep my friend and fellow racer Cricket in your prayers.  She had to leave the race a few days ago because her father’s leukemia has returned.  It was hard to see her go, especially as we were only beginning to see how each of us would minister and bless each other.  Her father has not been given good odds but we all are standing in belief here that not only we he defy those odds, because we serve a God who is not concerned with odds, but he will be cured.  We ask that you join us in prayers for Cricket, her family, and especially her father Richard this week.  He is undergoing another round of chemo and this week is critical.

Also, I received an email that my 95 year old great grandmother had been hospitalized due to fainting and an irregular heart beat.  She has been released but they have said her heart is just weakening and they don’t want to do a pace maker because of her age.  She is a strong resilient woman but please pray that God will give her a special touch from Him.  The doctors say she could last 5 years or 5 days.  My selfish heart says pray for God’s miraculous healing of her heart.  I think there is a lot more she has yet to do, but she has lived a good and faithful life and if God chooses to take her home I couldn’t blame him.  She is great company and one of my favorite people!  So, I suppose I just want her to know how much she is loved and how much I would love to just give her a big hug right now!
