We have just finished wrapping up our latest debrief where we got to spend time with our friends from the January race. Some of them know what they will do when they arrive back home and then there are others who are still trying to decipher what God’s will is for this next season of their lives.
We were able to spend some really good time with Gary & Lisa, Andrew, and Seth & Karen. These men and all their wives care so much for us. They have spent this whole debrief challenging us to continue to press in and push through to the finish. We arrived in Hong Kong tired and in need of a challenge. We are not leaving dissappointed. We leave tomorrow for a closed Asian country that is located inside the 10/40 window. We will be out of contact until Christmas.
Please pray that we will continue to grow, that we will challenge one another, and that we will continue to come together as a body. Pray that we will have opportunities to meet and minister to those who have never heard of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for them. Pray that many seeds will be planted through our time there and if the Lord wills it, that we will be able to take part in a harvest of souls as well. Pray for our health; our team came into Hong Kong with sickness and several of us are leaving sick too. Pray for complete healing and protection from sickness the rest of this ministry time so that we can give 100%. Pray for our families and our own protection during this time where we will be without contact to the outside world. This will not be an easy time for any of us, but God has great things in store if we are only willing.
I am sure we will have lots to talk about after spending a month without technology, it should be exciting! I look forward to when communication can begin again. God bless until we reconnect.
