I’ve been sitting here for awhile trying to figure out where to start. Training camp is over…most of the squad has returned home for the next month…but everything that happened over the last week is just now beginning to settle. Each time I talk to people about training camp, I just keep repeating, “I’m blown away!!” It’s hard to put into words exactly what I’m feeling, but just know that it’s super overwhelming and God is stinkin’ AMAZING!!!
In 8 and a half days, I’ve come to know some of the most extreme, hilarious, Spirit-filled, compassionate, loving, open to God people I’ve ever met! I never knew that within a week, you could develop life-long relationships…best friends…family.
So, here’s your introduction to 5 of the most amazing girls I’ve ever had the privilege of getting to know! This God-ordained team is one that was put together with tons of prayer and has fallen into place just like butter on bread. These are the women who will be with me day in and day out…willing to see me in the bad, the good and the ugly…and love despite it all. This week, I’ve laughed so much and so freely with women whose hearts truly beat after God’s own heart and worked alongside my family for the next year. So without further ado, TEAM HEPHZIBAH!! (Isaiah 62:5)
Between hilarious talk of girly hormones and chocolate….to bread, grocery stores, “weird” Matrix moments, dirty llamas, beat box raps and handsome buddy, Bruce…I’m convinced that we’ve got the most influential, comically entertaining, passion-driven group of girls! I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for each of us!!
Finally, here’s a shout-out to our amazing camel friend, Bruce! We miss you Bruce and wish you the best in enjoying that fence post and chewing your food!!
