I dyed my hair purple! What was I thinking! Ever do something crazy just to say you did? Last week I was bored and hating my hair. (Ladies probably understand this more than the guys) so I found myself trying to decide between green or purple dye. Purple won. I have learned that you have to very confident to have your hair a different color. A lot of people stare at you! But it got me thinking next year when I’m on the field I won’t be different because of my hair color but because of who I am. In many places I will stick out because I don’t know the language or the culture. I am happy to say my hair, after a couple trips to the salon and a few more what was I thinking moments, is back to its “natural” color but next year it won’t be as simple as a trip to the salon to blend back in.
