Remember that promise I made about posting more details about travel plans? I honestly meant to do it sooner, but long story short, I was sick for 9 days and just a few days ago found out I have a sinus infection. I’m on the mend now and is trying to catch up on everything that didn’t get done this past week. Like this! 🙂

Here is how it takes 4 days to go from Traverse City to Thailand.

I fly out from Traverse City on the 31st. (2 weeks from today! Yikes!)

I have a short layover in Chicago and then will land in San Francisco at 9pm. (Happy New Year in Michigan!) I will then attempt (I get lost in airports) to find my American teammate who also is flying in that day and we”ll have a New Year party there. There’s about a 15 hr layover before our scheduled departure to Thailand at 12pm on Jan 1st.

And here’s my favorite part. Ready? 14hr flight from SF to China. 14hrs! I’m not a fan of flying so this excites me very much.

Then we’ll have a 3 hr layover in China then only a 3 hr flight to Thailand!

We arrive in Thailand on Jan 3rd. We will meet up with our International teammates there and then jump right into training camp for a week. After that we go to our ministry sites.

I’m really excited about this opportunity, but just thinking about all the travel that’ll be happening is already wearing me out. So please pray that everything goes smoothly and that I’ll be able to rest some as we travel. That training week would go well and that the Fusion team would have an open heart and mind.

Thanks for reading and Merry Christmas!!!

P.S. I recently received an email from “Adventures in Missions” stating that there will no longer be a 2-3% charge to an online donation.  So now 100% of what you donate will go directly into my account.
