The Fusion Route is something the World Race has never done before.
It is a team of international racers coming together as Christians to spread the Gospel despite the difference in culture and language.
I’m happy to say that God has called me to switch to the fusion route!
With that said, here are some changes that goes with switching to this “first time for everyone” Fusion Route-
Training camp will be in January in Thailand instead of in October in GA. Then right after camp we’ll jump into whatever ministry God has for us there in Thailand.
My team will be multi-cultural instead of all Americans.
And it’s a different route. So some of the countries have changed.
This wasn’t something I was willing to do at first. In fact, when I got the email telling me about it and asking if I wanted to be a part of it, I immediately slammed the door on it. Why would I want to switch? I already knew my team (as much as you can get to know someone on Facebook without meeting them), I liked where I would be going on my route. I’ve always wanted to go to India and that is not on the Fusion route, and I didn’t really want to travel with of group of people who may not know English. (come to find out, everyone needs to be somewhat fluent in English) and training camp was going to be my “test the gear I got” camp too. So, in other words, I was comfortable. And I guess God thought I was too comfortable, He wanted me to go all out, He wanted me to be challenged and to really look at what I’m doing. This is not about what countries I want to go too. It’s not about being comfortable. It’s not about who I know. It’s not about seeing whether my gear is good enough. And it’s not about me. This is all about God. It’s about what Christ has done for us. It’s about obeying God’s call to reach out to those without hope. No matter where I’m at or who I’m with. It’s all about Him and the glory due His Name! There is no limit on what God can do. He is at work in every part of the world. It took me several days to finally accept that this was something that God really wanted me to do. And now that I’m all switched over I have so much more peace about this trip. I know without a doubt that this is where God wants me. And if this is where He wants me, then I am completely content.

I’m so excited for the opportunity to serve with those on my team in their home country and to serve in my home country with those who never been there! For the chance to just come together with other from around the world! To learn about their culture, to hear and see how God is working in their country!
God has provided $3500 right before my first deadline!!! Thank you to all of you who prayed and gave financially!!!!! I’m so encouraged by you all!
My next financial deadline is in December. And I need to raise another $3500 which will have my total at $7000. God will Provide!
