Hi!

Our month here in Vietnam is going great!  We have been able to meet with several more contacts and send their information to “AIM” We also been able to talk with a lot of students at the park. Every time we go we are surrounded by students who want to practice their English. Even though we can’t openly share gospel we can show them God’s love through our words and actions. I had a nice conversation with Phat one afternoon and once he found out the we were looking for ‘volunteer work’ he immediately said he would help look and send me names of organizations who needed volunteers. Vietnamese are so friendly and so willing to help!  Please continue to pray for us as we seek the unsung heroes.

We are going to a beach side town this week and I’m praying that God would continue to give us opportunities and open doors for the gospel to be known as we travel to another part of Vietnam for a few days.

A lot has been going on back at EMOD in Cambodia. But first here is a video clip of our time in Cambodia.

This past week we discovered that half or our team had head lice from the kids.  We knew they had them but that didn’t prevent us from loving on them. Looking back at it  it was totally worth it! And as of now, I am lice free. We’ll be doing head check for the  next week or two though. It’s great team bonding time though!!!

Watching this video made me miss them so much! Especially since they have been going through trials this past week.

EMOD church burnt down last Sunday (8th)

” Arson as a result of persecution is suspected as a possible cause of the fire.  The damages were great as the entire building and all of the contents suffered a complete loss.”

Pastor Khon had 48 hrs to pay the owner $40,000 or be imprisoned. This puts the whole ministry at stakes, including the children’s home.

But throughout all of this the church is still gathering were the building use to stand and worshiping God. They understand that everything is in God’s hand and are celebrating that. What beautiful thing to see despite the trials.

I still haven’t heard yet whether they were able to get the $40,000 yet, but I will keep you updated on that as soon as I find out.

I have posted/shared a video on my Facebook page of the Church worshiping where the church stood. I am not able to post a link to it here so you’ll have to go look if you want. Also, Evangelical Mission Organization for Development has a Facebook page. You can ‘like’ them to get updates.

Also, while we were there several kids lost their sponsorship. These kids were a joy to be with and God has incredible things planned for them!  If you are interested in helping or have questions feel free to email me through this blog here or email the contact on this picture.
