Well, it is four weeks until I leave Florida. I have packed up my home and seperated the “keeper” from the “seller” items. I can not believe that it is almost here. I will be having a yard sale on December 2nd to raise money for my trip. My middle school girls and I will be having a sleep over the night before at the church where the yard sale is being held. They are going to be helping me at the yard sale. Please pray for good weather for us.
The Lord has blessed me with these precious gems for well over a year now. I have been blessed in teaching them the Bible (they have taught me more I think). They have really developed a huge heart for serving and an even bigger prayer life. At the end of group, they (we) always close in coorporate prayer and laying on of hands.
We naturally have our favorite snacks – puffed cheetos, homemade peanut butter cookies, and orange drink. Then we will have prayer time which could potentially last for hours! Who knows what time we will go to sleep, only to get up at 6 am and sale-sale-sale. I love these girls soooo much!!!! Man, am I going to miss them. It will be the last time I am able to spend any time with them before I leave. Please pray for us as we go our seperate ways. It is very difficult, and I have to fight against jealousy.
