Strategically my team, 61, got up this morning and made it to the final racing destination, the Ancient Ruins of Palenque in the plaza de cruz. There were eight teams racing and 61 made it in third. It was so funny running through the park. The locals thought it was some kind of marathon and was cheering us on. It was fast, hot, and fun; however, IT KICKED MY BUTT!!! Take a look at the picture to your left……………………….. it will be the last time you see me weighing 160lbs! I lost 5 alone after getting sick from running so fast and hard this morning! Yep, I got sick!!!
Please pray added measures of strength for me as I am fasting for a month from meat and chocolate (both big in Mexico). Pray specifically for my eyes to be open the spiritual rhealm as I lead a team of 55 people in prayer for the next year!
We stayed in a cheap (scary) hotel last night. It did have hot showers and toilet paper :-). Tonight we will be staying in a local church and ministry begins tomorrow.
