This Sunday is Father’s Day. This you already know. We have such a good Father. He loves, adores, and cherishes us. I am so grateful for this.
I know that God is in control, but that does not always make it easy. I say that to tell you that my heart is breaking for my son. This Sunday, my son will “celebrate” Father’s Day — without his daddy. We are going to spend the day together though.
We are going to church then to Red Lobster for lunch. ummm… ummm…. (Thank you Lisa!) and just hang out.
I have to tell you, I am a little nervous about the sermon. Usually, these “special” days are hyped up for dads. I would really like to see our Father in heaven be the one hyped up though. Christopher had a very loving father on earth, now it is TRULY time for him to have fun with his Father in heaven!
Please be in prayer for my son Christopher! He is such a special young man. This day will be a tough one, but if we gather together in prayer, perhaps his pain will be minimal.
Thank you sooooo much for your prayers. Christopher is worth it!
