This is the 4,000 seat auditorium that Christopher will be playing at. We were assured that every seat will be filled. Christopher was soooooo excited that he literally got chill bumps!
This is part of the campus of Interlochen School of Fine Arts. It was an absolutely beautiful place. It will house over 2,5oo students for the summer. Christopher himself will be there for 6 weeks. He will share a cabin with 11 other High School boys.
Please keep Christoper in your prayers!
Christopher on a balcany at Interlochen over looking the great Lake Michigan! It was gorgeous.
The kids will be able to canoe, go boating, hiking, and do other sports too.
Their schedule is packed full of opportunity and skill. From breakfast till dinner, the kids have to wear conservative uniforms, and will be playing their hearts out. Every instrument known to man is being presented at this camp, as well as, theatrical art and creative writing.
After an application process, including sending in a taped session, Christopher got accepted to this wonderful place. I owe a great amount of gratitude and thanks to his Aunt Carolyn for her persistance in motivating Christopher to go, and for the gift of providing for him to go!
I would like to say that I was completely for it from the beginning, but I wasn’t. It was sad leaving my son in Michigan 10 hours away from me. It was such a long drive home; however, I will say that I am starting to get excited for him now. He is so talented, and he deserves the best!
Our drive to Michigan was INCREDIBLE! Both of our hearts just opened up and poured into one-another! We laughed and talked the whole way there. That is not so hard to believe, b/c we both love to talk.
We talked about Jesus and sung songs to classic rock. We ate Red Lobster and watched EVAN Almighty. When we were done, we literally crashed!
At the end of the night, when I was saying my prayers, this thought came into my mind (and I let it manifest in my heart),
” I had spent my day and night with a KING!”
