There came a point in the WR training where Thailand was not going to be on the itinerary. This was unacceptable in my eyes. There are thousands of little girls who are snatched up and sold into the sex slave industry. Oh how I longed to hold these precious little girls, lay hands on them, and pray over them! Being set free from a similar bondage myself, it is something that is very dear to my heart!!!
There is an opportunity to where I can still go to Thailand. This is the very reason I even signed up for the World Race to begin with. Only after I signed up, did I catch the vision of Matthew 28:19 for the rest of the trip.
Well lo and behold, the WR is going to Thailand, and I get to join them there! I declared at the beginning of the race that nothing would stop me (do demon in hell could stop me) from going there! It was a calling that I simply knew was from God and for me!
You often hear people (most people in fact) say that they are called to Africa. This is great. Africa needs many many people to pour out the love of Christ there. As for me, I feel called to three places: 1. The ghettos here in the states 2. The churches here in the states and 3. Thailand – period. (More to be revealed as I grow in Christ)
As God does honor the hearts of those who earnestly seek him, I will be leaving for Thailand sometime around August 1st. Seth and Serena from AIM are trying really hard to work out the details to get me there. Thank you sooooo much Seth!!! This means more to me than words can say!
I look VERY forward to seeing all of my friends that I had to abruptly leave behind when I left the World Race. I still follow ALL of their blogs and pray for them regularly. They honestly are in my heart!
I would covet your prayers in wisdom, opportunity, and favor (particularly with my new job). There are some minor things that need to be worked out still, but if God be for me, who can be against me.
With all of my dreams and heart’s desires, I place this one in the hands of God too.
