We are living the next 25 days in a city named San Juan, on beautiful Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. It is sooooooooo amazingly gorgeous here. The Lord really blessed us. We have 3 hotel rooms on ¨ocean front¨ property. It is literally like a small island. Our rooms cost us only $2.00 American dollars per person a night!!! We also have a four burner gas stove to cook on… LOVE IT! This is a miracle! All glory to God!!!
Ministry opportunity is huge. We will be teaching English and Computers in a Christian school that is right across the street from our hotel. We will be helping with church too. There is also a lot of ministry in surrouding communities. There are about 100 widows taking care of orphans (2 in 1). How cool is God!
There is an obvious, very substantial difference in Spirituality here over our stay in Mexico. San Juan and surrounding has a very colorful attitude. The name of and Jesus Christ is pasted on most every building and mode of transportation. Salvation is not really a question for most. The need is just simply hands on help. The harvest is plenty, but the workers are few…
