This is just a short update. I am asking that you please be in prayer!

Please take note that this is a public blog; therefore, so are your comments.

As we speak, there are issues about my son. It is a long, complicated story. I truly believe that all parties involved are after the best interest of Christopher.

There is potentially an agreement that could work in favor of everybody, including Christopher’s desires. At 16 years old, he is too young to have to deal with this matter, yet old enough to make decisions of his own. Please keep him in your prayers, remembering that it has just been two weeks since he lost his father.

Please also pray for me as I am still looking for a job, home, and church. I had an interview last Thursday, and they called me back for a second one on Wednesday. I would really like to have this particular job, for it is in ministry administration.

A good church is hard to find after being spoiled (blessed) at First Assembly in Gainesville (Love ya Pastor Mike and Pastor Robbie!!!!). I did visit a local Assembly of God church today. To let you know, the people were pleasant. Good ole Kentucky hospitality.

Earlier in the service, I was crying (literally) to God (and even had journaled) for fire and passion… At the end of service, a man gave me a word in church. He literally handed to me on a sheet of paper.  It was Jeremiah 23:29, “
Is not my word like fire,” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?” Well, that was pretty blunt!

Having said all that, God is Sovereign and in control! I remember writing in a blog a while ago that I was happy to “submit to the unknown.” I find myself yet again in this position. But with God’s grace, I am stepping out in faith to do it. I love God and trust Him with ALL of my heart.
