I feel really burdened to pray for the World Race right now. I am kind of partial to Squad A, but you can use this for any Squad, whether they’re out now, headed out, or wanting to go out.
Please be in agreement with me for them. They are in a difficult area, and have no way of communicating with us. We really need to not forget to intercede in prayer for them. Don’t let their blogs be “out of sight, out of mind.”
The Bible says that if two or more on earth agree that it shall be done! This prayer is packed full of Scriptures, which are sharper than any two edged sword! You can print this out and share it with others too.
Heavenly Father, we come to you in the name of Jesus Christ. We exalt you Lord for who you are. You are Sovereign and you are all knowing! We praise you for ordaining the steps of their lives, and we call those steps forth in the name of Jesus Christ. Apart from you, Lord, nothing happens, but with you, all things are possible.
Father, we want to lift up to you all of the World Racers. We thank you Lord Jesus for your provision in taking such an incredible group of warriors to the field to preach the Gospel. Father, we thank you that You foreknew their lives, and predestined them to be conformed to the likeness of Christ. We thank you for the calling on their lives.
Father, we ask for an anointing upon each of their lives. We ask for an outpouring of your Holy Spirit upon them, leaving none out! Father we ask you for, and thank you for, the power to heal the sick, set the captive free, and even raise the dead, but more than anything Lord, we ask that you would give the ability to love the unloved and the discern the lost, so that many will be added to them daily.
We pray a hedge of protection around them Lord as they minister your Word to the needy, oppressed, poor, fatherless, widows, hopeless, and homeless. We declare in the name of Jesus Christ that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We thank you Lord that you have already canceled all the schemes of the enemy, and that Satan has no grip on them or the territory where they are serving You. We commission, in the name of Jesus, 10,000 angels to surround them and guard them in all of their ways.
Father we pray for added measures of unity. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent them and have loved them even as you have loved the ones they are sent to. May they make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. We pray Lord that you give this group of brave individuals eyes to see and ears to hear. Please expose the scheme of the enemy, that no dissension would take place.
Thank you for restoring any hardship or broken relationship that has occurred, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. We ask for healing and forgiveness to take place now in the name of Jesus Christ!
Father, we pray that each and every world racer will guard their heart for out of it flows the river of life. We pray that they would desire righteousness, holiness and integrity, that they would live a life without blame.
We pray Lord that they would all know who they are in Christ. Please open up their hearts and speak into their lives. We ask for divine appointments to confirm their identity. They are a royal priesthood, the apple of your eye, your sons and daughters, oh gracious Lord.
Let the joy of the Lord be their strength. We pray for a spirit of laughter, fun, and rejuvenation deep within their souls. Pour out Your love into their hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom You have given to them. Draw near to them as the draw near to you.
Oh how we thank you Lord Jesus that you hear the prayers of the righteousness. Please prick the hearts of us who are home praying for our loved ones, friends, and peers. May we be diligent in covering them with the Blood of Jesus Christ. It is in your Holy, Precious, and Mighty Name we pray, Amen!
