So in this update I have three main things to talk about. The first is the fact that I took my mother to the doctor about a week or so ago and he had nothing but good news. They can’t find the breast cancer anywhere. This Friday, 6/23/17, I will be taking my mother to go have surgery on her breast. They want to take out some tissue in the area where the breast cancer was found and test it. I am asking for any and all prayers that this surgery goes well and that they find nothing. God is so good and through Him all things are possible.
The second thing I wanted to talk about is my newest fundraiser. It’s called adopt a box. This is what it says on my Facebook page:
(Adopt a Box!!! (With prizes.)
Hey everyone, here is my next fundraiser. It’s called adopt a box. Here’s how it works.
1.) You pick a number from 1 to 200. (If you want you can pick more than one).
2.) You go to my blog at http://jenniferpalmer.theworldrace.org/ and you click on DONATE! Whatever number you picked is how much you give.
3.) When you have given, post down below what you plan on giving, and I will update my box to have your name. If you wish to remain unknown, you don’t have to do this part.
4.) When you give, please make sure to leave an address for me to send you a thank you gift. The higher (more) you give, the bigger the gift. The biggest gift being a beautiful hand made, virus blanket.
5.) Share this with your friends and family on your Facebook page.
*If I can have all these boxes filled, I will be fully funded for my trip! Also, I feel like I should mention that most of the gifts that will be given are my hand made crochet things.)
If you haven’t added me to Facebook and wish to, please do!
And the final thing I wanted to talk about is that due to me going back to Bethlehem to help out, I am having to push back when I leave. But that is okay because all things are in God’s time, not mine. I am now leaving in January. I know I serve an amazing God and that He has wonderful things planned ahead for me. I can’t wait to see what he has for me next.
