Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Jennifer Leandra Palmer and I am 25 years old. I graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2014 with a degree in biology. The following year I was lead by God to my first mission to help others. I got a phone call on a Friday and I left a week and a half later with a plane ticket and about $400 in my account. I was a teacher in Bethlehem for the last 2 years. During the summer I would come home and fund-raise and work at Quik Trip. While over there I manage to teacher 6th grade my first year, and 4th grade my second year; as well as, I tutored all different grades and started a 4th through 6th grade Bible study that is still going today. It was such an amazing experience and I miss my students something fierce but God called me home for a year to help my family, specially my mother who has breast cancer. Last year while over seas I was first introduce to the World Race while in Bethlehem last year by a dear friend who had went through the race already. Well, when I came back home I remembered talking to her about it and decided to look it up. After I read more information on it, praying and talking to my friend some more I decided to try and do it. I am really excited for what the Lord has in store for me. I’ll be honest and tell you I don’t look for to the fund-raising but I truly feel this is a where God is leaving me and I am going to give my all. I might be bad at fund-raising but God is not. The life I live is not for everyone but God has definitely given me a spirit for it. I look forward to walking through this adventure with you and please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.
