I’m leaving exactly one month from today…just in case anyone is counting 🙂
I can’t believe I will be gone for a year in less than thirty days. The thought is really beginning to sink in. I could not be more excited, but I am also hesitant to leave my life in America for a year. It is so comforting having the support of all my wonderful family and friends. Thank you all so much! I have two very exciting things to post this week:
First – I have opened a new website and am ready to launch it out into the virtual world! This new site will be my main method of communication while on the race. It is much easier to post pictures, videos and such. I will still post here, but not as frequently. So….without further delay….I present you with:

My second piece of news is that I will have my first speaking engagement at a church tomorrow morning. My wonderful Aunt Janice arranged for me to come in to talk about Global Missions and share about my trip. I am so very excited! This will be my first time speaking with a congregation that is not Mount Paran or Lee University. I am really looking forward to share with them about what God is doing around the world! Also, if anyone else knows of a church that would like to hear about Missions, please let me know!
