Hi friends and family!
We are currently still in Bangkok, Thailand. There is a bit of political unrest here which has resulted in the shutting down of the airport. We were supposed to leave on Wednesday evening, but it is now Saturday afternoon and we are still here. If we were going to be stuck anywhere, this is a great place to be stuck. we are staying at the YWAM base which has AC and free wifi. I even was able to talk to my family on Thanksgiving which I thought would not be possible due to us traveling on that day. So, we’ve been trying to leave for a few days now. The latest is that we would be leaving from a military base on a military plane since there are no flights going in or out of the international airport in Bangkok. It looks like we may be stuck here a while longer – there is a possibility of leaving each day so we have been told to stay packed and be ready to leave at a moments notice. The cool thing is that if we leave tomorrow we would get to spend the night in Abu Dhabi, UAE which would be awesome! This is the richest city in the world. I want a new sticker for my guitar case that says, “I went platinum in Abu Dhabi” 🙂 ha ha. The sticker collection on my guitar case is awesome! I can’t wait for ya’ll to see it.
I also want to give a shout out to my family who did the most awesome thing for me. I really missed everyone on Thanksgiving, and I know Christmas will be even harder. But, it will serve to make it all the more sweet next year! The photos below are priceless, especially the last one. (I was the MVP of the family football game last Thanksgiving) I love and miss everyone! I can’t believe we are already entering month 6. The halfway point is practically here. All I can say to ya’ll is: I love ya, I love ya, I LOVE YOU!
