I’m re-posting this blog from BP, my incredible teammate and sister. I hope it puts a smile on your face. 🙂

(To see the original post, check out her blog site at www.brittanypriess.theworldrace.org)

Over the last three months I and the team have been
compiling questions we have asked that we think you may only hear from World
Racers.  There are ridiculous stories with each ridiculous question that I would love to share when I return, haha!! Again, these are real
questions
asked at some point along our journey over the last three months… ENJOY!

Who’s preaching today?
Where am I?  Was
the goat riding on that motorcycle dead or alive?  Is
the water in this bucket going to be enough to wash my hair?  Was
that a rat?!? Can we raise the
dead from afar?  Do I smell?

Who’s preaching today?
Is he speaking English?  Am
I going to need my passport?
May I hold your baby?  Is
that a tan-line or just a dirt-line?  Are we really going
to be able to fit in this taxi? (There are 9 of us and it already appears to be
full…)  My stomach hurts… does that mean I have malaria?

Who’s preaching today?
What’s that smell? Is it me?  How
did you clog a hole in the ground?!?  Is that fur on the meat
or feathers?  So when he said to be ready at 9AM he meant 2PM?  When’s
the last time I showered? Do we really have to go through with “No-Shave November?”

Who’s preaching today?  Did
we just hit a pot hole or a large cow infused with steroids?!?  Can
I remember a time in my life when I was not on this bus…?  Is
my hair falling out from malnutrition or lack of bathing?  Can
I borrow your glue for this mosquito bite?
Can I borrow your glue to kill these maggots?

Who’s preaching today?  Dan,
will
you finish my soda?  Did you count 12 or 13 chickens hanging from
the handlebars of that bike?
Was that the wing of a bat or a stick that just hit me through the
window of the bus?  Is it safe to eat the eyeball?  Is the bed broken?
Are three squares of
toilet paper excessive? (YES)

MZUNGU HOW ARE YOU!?!?

Africa has been amazing!!!  We have made some memories as a team
that I will never forget and met some people that I will never forget.  In the past three months, dreams have
come true, expectations revealed and shattered, and hearts set a flame for the
Kingdom.  I cannot wait to head
into uncharted territories for me in Asia, because I know that it is not uncharted for Him!  Like I always say, GAME ON!
