Hey friends!

The month in Kenya has literally FLOWN by… I can’t believe we’ll be leaving for Uganda at noon tomorrow. I’m truly going to miss the lifelong friendships we’ve made with people here, but God-willing I’ll be able to return to Kenya at some point. 🙂 We’ll be traveling from Isibania, Kenya to Jinja, Uganda tomorrow on a bus that should take about eight hours. We’ll be meeting up with our whole squad for a few days before dispersing to our separate ministry sites for the remainder of the month; we’ll also be RAFTING the NILE for a day while in Jinja… I’M SO EXCITED!

We recently found out that we’ll be stationed in Lira, UGANDA for our ministry; I believe we’ll be working with families and victims of the LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) and may be doing some counseling for child soldiers. I am so PUMPED. Please pray for protection, safety, and health for our whole squad in our upcoming travels and future months. Pray that we would have continued STRENGTH, HOPE, and TRUST in the Lord. 🙂

Thank you SO MUCH! I hope all is well back home… I miss you guys and love you LOTS! Nakupenda sana!

Also, feel free to check out my teammates’ blogs about what we’ve been up to this past month… they have some awesome stuff posted.
