Oh yea…  I can’t
forget to mention that it was the fabulous Heather Horton’s 24th
BIRTHDAY
yesterday as well! Woo! We celebrated with a trip to Papa Johns and
then Chilis when we returned from the farm, along with enjoying some delicious
cake and watching Kige and B.Cox do the “Coke Challenge… hahaha. For those of
you who don’t know, the Coke Challenge consists of drinking a 1.5 liter bottle
of Coke as fast as possible. Kige did it in about 8 minutes and it took B.Cox
about 9… but they were LEGIT and truly champions in our eyes (compared to other
O-squaders who have tried it and failed. Haha, it’s ok… we still love you
guys.) It caused a little trauma to their stomachs/ intestines/ bowels
afterward, but it was worth it for the story. Way to go, ladies. I’m proud to
call you my teammates. 🙂

In other news, we’re heading to Guatemala this Wednesday for our last month of ministry – insanity!
Where has the year gone? It’s going to be another hard goodbye, that’s for
sure. We’ll be in Antigua all month, working with another team and doing school
and hospital ministry. I’m not exactly sure what that’s gonna look like but I’ll
let you know once we jump in. Final debrief starts on May 8th and
then we fly back to the States on May 12th. Crazy crazy crazy.

Please keep the whole squad in your prayers… that we would
all push hard until the end of the race and have a smooth transition into making
this kingdom-lifestyle a part of our everyday lives back home… or wherever we
find ourselves. THANK YOU for all your love and prayers… it’s so encouraging! I
love you all and will see you before we know it!

Heather getting birthday presents from some of the girls. 🙂 Precious!

Team Beloved on our way out to dinner! 🙂
