Hey everyone!
So this is my biography, huh? I don’t even know where to begin. I guess it all started at a hospital in San Diego when I was
delivered by the nurses because I couldn’t wait for the doctors to get
there. That gives you an idea of how eager I was to enter
this world and begin exploring it… I am a true adventurer at heart. 🙂
I was born in San Diego, California but grew up in Wilbraham, Massachusetts (it’s about an hour and a half west of Boston and the home of Friendly’s!) I went to college in San Diego (USD… I loved it!), and now I’m back in MA, living in Boston and working with inner-city kids at an after-school program. I guess you could call me a coast-hopper… or country-hopper for that matter. 🙂
My family has always been a huge part of my life. They are incredibly
loving, supportive, encouraging, and faith-filled… I AM SO BLESSED
and grateful for them! They are truly amazing. 🙂 I’m the youngest of
three kids; I have an older brother and an older sister, and now a
sister-in-law, a niece (she’s adorable!), and a brother-in-law to be!
The family just keeps growing. 🙂
What else. Umm… Jesus is my homeboy. But He’s also my Father, Savior,
Friend, and Lover. I am truly in awe of His goodness, grace, love,
mercy… andddd the list could go on. Quite simply, I adore Him. 🙂
I grew up in an Episcopal church and accepted Christ at a young age,
but I didn’t truly begin falling in love with Him until the end of high
school/ beginning of college. I went through some intensive periods of
questioning and doubting my faith, wrestling with God, and living in
ways that were not fully pleasing to Him. But God continued to speak to
me through it all in a still, small voice, and He drew me back into His
open arms. I then started getting really involved in InterVarsity
Christian Fellowship and other areas of the faith life at my college…
and I truly began to thrive in the Lord. I was learning more than I
ever thought possible, experiencing God in new and fantastic ways,
meeting people who became family to me, being challenged daily, and
growing in depth and intimacy with the Lover of my soul. I’m addicted
to God’s presence and am continually longing to grow deeper in Him. He
is so good!!

I’m blessed by the Spirit’s willingness to abundantly provide me with
immense amounts of JOY on a regular basis. It’s overwhelming… and
cannot be contained. Therefore, smiling is my favorite. Laughing is
alright too (haha). 😉 I’m pretty easily amused and can generally make
myself (and others) laugh for significant periods of time. Whether
they’re laughing at me or my jokes… I don’t know… but I’m cool with
that. 🙂

I can be pretty random and spontaneous. I like broccoli. And brussel sprouts. 🙂 I am a
passionate person in all respects. I can solve the Rubik’s Cube in less
than three minutes… and I can teach you as well (anyone wanna
learn?) I would play volleyball every day if I could… I’m minorly
obsessed with it. I love sports in general and just being active and outdoors. Yay for God’s amazing creation! My favorite colors are blue, aqua, and coral. I’ve been around the world on a ship
(while studying abroad on Semester at Sea). Truly. Incredible. I’m one of the biggest
night owls and procrastinators you’ll ever meet… I guess those two go
hand in hand. All-nighters and I know each other well. Caffeine and I
are old friends too (but only when necessary). I love sleep but rarely
get enough of it. I snort when I laugh – but only when I’m truly amused. Some people call me J.hizzle. Or J.slice. Or J.Sue. My sister
calls me Egor. My mom calls me Sunshine. You can make up your own. 🙂
I’m passionate about seeing the Lord at work in this world and
witnessing the Kingdom at hand. I adore being a tool for all of that
goodness too… what an honor! I truly desire for others to experience
the grace, peace, joy, freedom, and redemption that comes only from Christ. There
are no substitutes that come anywhere close, and yet our world is
confused and broken. We are all in need of a Savior… we just don’t
all know it yet. I am addicted to traveling, missions, and seeing the
living God at work in other cultures. I love the global Body of Christ.
I love people. I love helping people, talking to people, being with
people. I want to learn to love people like Christ loves us. What an
infinitely perfect example. I want to be used, molded, and grown more
into His likeness. I want to fall deeper in love with Him daily.

Oh yea, and I am more stoked than I could even attempt to convey about
going on THE WORLD RACE. Like, the excitement is bubbling over. I
