More to come on where we’re at this month in terms of
ministry and everything else… but first I would like to introduce you to a new
member of our team: the fabulous KIRSTEN
GEORGE!! (aka Kige – pronounced “kyâ€, rhymes with tie, and “gâ€, simply say
the letter)
Check out her blog site here: www.kirstengeorge.theworldrace.org

This is Kirsten and I at TRAINING CAMP before the race… it feels like forever ago!
There were some changes in leadership on her last team so right
before El Salvador her team dispersed and each member went to a different existing
team… and we got her! Yay! We’ve only been together for a few days but she is
LEGIT and she has a lot to offer Team Beloved, so I’m super excited about
getting to know her more and growing as one big family. She definitely hears
from the Lord and offers a unique perspective full of wisdom, insight,
boldness, openness, and vulnerability that was needed to shake things up for
these last six weeks on the field, so I’m super grateful for her presence here.
She’s awesome… thank you, Jesus!
ALSO… Courtney is
back with us and will be finishing out the race, YAY! She ended up staying in
LA with her family as we were en route to Central America because of recurring
health issues (gastritis, intestinal infections, kidney stones, etc) that she
wanted to get checked out. She’s officially been cleared and is feeling much
better, has a ton of vitamins/ medication, and is back in the loving arms of
her team – woo! It’s so good to have everyone “homeâ€!
Going from only five team members in Honduras to seven here
in El Salvador is quite the jump, but it’s been a lot of fun. We also have the
three squad leaders with us for the next few days (Aly, Salley, and Garrett),
so we sure do have a full house! It truly feels like one big family along with
all the kids though so it’s been a sweet time. I love these people. 🙂
Team stuff in general has been good… and getting better. We’ve
begun listening to the Lord on each other’s behalf again and truly attempting
to encourage, speak life into, and challenge one another into stepping fully
into what the Lord has for each of us and the people we’re serving. We know God
has more – individually, as a team,
and in ministry – and we need to see these next six weeks as a period of
potentially HUGE growth and learning rather than a countdown to the end of the
race. I think the new team dynamics will help us truly push for what God has in
store – thank the Lord for change and growth. 🙂
Thanks for all the prayers and love… you guys are awesome!
p.s. There’s another exciting
addition to my life… I have a
new NIECE!! Yay! My brother (Chris) and his wife (Michelle) had their
second little girl; her name is Allison and she was born at 5:19pm on March 18th,
just shy of 8 pounds. She is PRECIOUS and I can’t wait to meet her when I get
home! Thank the Lord for NEW LIFE… what a miracle! 🙂
“See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce
them to you (Isaiah 42:9).

Michelle and Allison 🙂

Chris and Allison 🙂
