Happy Easter from Hua Hin Thailand!!  He is Risen!

We arrived in Thailand on May 30th for a debrief with our wonderful coaches, Chuck and Selena, and amazing squad leaders, Aaron and Caroline.  We have been able to get lots of rest, take lots of showers and get fired up for our last 3 months of the race.  I have been blessed to spend some good quality time with both Selena and Caroline, 2 women who have breathed life into me and encouraged me in incredible ways.  Even though I loved Africa so much, I left feeling tired and worn out, not sure how I was going to last another 3 months.  This time has rejuvenated me and reminded me that this is something that God has brought me to and therefore He will see me through.

Beks (who has fully recovered from malaria for all you who were wondering…thanks for the prayers!) and I on the “Speaking Stone” overlooking the city of Iringa.
We leave in the morning to head to the Bangkok YWAM base until we fly out to Ho Chi Minh Vietnam for the month of April.  We will be working with 3 other teams (Colby’s and Don’s) doing a wide variety of ministries.  Besides the fact that we’re living all together in Ho Chi Minh we don’t know exactly what ministry will look like or much of anything else.

Ways you can pray:
*Vietnam is a closed country so pray for all of us to get in and out of the country safely and with no hassles as well as safety for our contacts and us while we live in Vietnam.
*Health for our squad.  Africa hit us pretty hard with malaria and other illnesses so pray for completely healing for those still sick and that Asia will be a time of health for our entire squad.
*Pray that I am able to stay focused on what God has planned for this time rather than focused on getting home.
*Pray for divine appointments during our time in Vietnam.
