To everyone who has supported me thus far in the World Race
process….THANK YOU

THANK YOU…for
attending garage sales, coffeehouses, and spaghetti dinners even though you may
have had other things to do.

THANK YOU…for
donating items for  the garage sale, baking items for  the
coffeehouse, cooking spaghetti and buttering bread for  the spaghetti
dinner, and using your musical talents to make each one of these fundraisers so
much more amazing.

THANK YOU…for
praying day in and day out for me, my team, my fundraisers, the people I will
be in contact with throughout the year, my health, safety, sanity, and a
million other things.

THANK YOU…for
reading my blog posts, subscribing to my blog, and commenting.  I am
touched by all of the kind words and encouragement.

THANK YOU…for
your finances.  God has provided in ways unimaginable and it is because
each one of you are answering His call.  Thank you for listening to what
God has put on your heart and following through.

THANK YOU…for
your random acts of kindness.  Between giving me clothes, providing me
with travel necessities (packing cubes, amazing blankets, etc), and gifting me
with passport wallets, you have blessed me, encouraged me and not to mention, saved
me lots of money!!

In 27 days my parents and I leave for NJ to meet up with my
relatives as well a few of my teammates and in 33 days I leave the U.S.
Things are starting to wrap up…tomorrow is my last day of work, Buddy is
SO CLOSE to having a home and my car has sold, but I do still have a few more
things to do…a bit more paperwork to fill out, insurance to sign up for,
random items to buy (eye mask, ear plugs, and a fleece
jacket…essentials!) and a tad more money to show up in my
account.  I currently have almost $7,000 in my account with an addition
$3,800 on its way.  I am getting so incredibly close to my goal!  God
is faithful and I know He will provide me with everything I’ll need for
this journey.

And even though the preparations are coming to a close, the
real adventure is still ahead!  Please continue to pray for my team
(Unwritten), my squad (the J squad), and me.  The prayers, support, and
words of encouragement will be much needed and appreciated in the days before
launching and the 11 months on the field.  Don’t forget to sign up
for email alerts when I update my blog (left-hand side…”subscribe
to my blog”) and check out my amazing teammates blogs (Beks, Callan, Chad
& Leslie, Dan & Holland)!

Big hugs to each and every one of you.
